Being “half committed”

Often times, we find ourselves not willing to be fully committed. On the bus for example, while others queue “aimlessly” for many minutes, I would arrogantly sit on the bench, smiling at them (at their foolishness), and time my “jog” to the door of the bus to perfection. I waste no time, make my payment, and usually find a seat. I’m not exactly sure how my fellow bus-mates feel, but I feel that I have wasted no one’s time; just I’m being more efficient.

This morning, after some Kin Kin Pan Mee, I took the monorail from Medan Tuanku. As I climbed up the stairs towards the platform, I hear the train approaching. I thought to myself; “Why not stroll along; I was too early for work!”. That little thought cost me 6 minutes of my time!

As I approached the monorail door, the beeper turned on. I could have made it if it wasn’t for this “lady” who couldn’t move to the back of the car despite the ample space for more passengers. Hokkien people say “Tua Tay” means “big piece” referring to their ass. Hahaha…Got 60 kg of muscle mass. Man, that’s epic. The only sad thing is that it’s all covered under that 20+ kg of blob (fats). I need to bring myself to 76kg, which is a realistic 12 month personal target for me!

It is somewhat flattering to see under “Evaluation”, I have been classified as having too much muscles for my height and weight! According to the fitness coach, I need to tone it. But I chose, rather to concentrate on lowering my weight.

28 kg of fats, mmm… that would make awesome “siew yoke” or bak kut teh, don’t you think?
