Instincts. Or divine intervention?

The rules at my workplace is to notify the boss 1 week in advance in order to take leave.

I did it twice already; with less than 24 hours notice! The line: “Can I take leave tomorrow?” is usually met with a really long stare and a surprised look! Not that the “emergency leave” wasn’t approve, it is just nice lah, to give people notice.

So 7 days ago, I applied for Friday the 13th leave. Initial plan was Penang, but realistically, I have tonnes of household chores to complete. We’ll just go Bukit Cahaya cycling, Subang SS15 pork mee and a nice lazy afternoon chilling.

The 4-of-us played Left 4 Dead. It was a map with a theme married from the first and second episodes. New challenges are always exciting. In the end, we played that full 3 hours. Quite unusual for “fully grown adults”, not high school kids, mind you. It was ok lah.

Before that we had Ninja Joe at Tropicana City mall. Quite pricey, and the only selling point is the fact that it is pork burger! A nice warm meal of Bak Kut Teh would have warmed our hearts better! haha..

Tonight there will be Dew Crew rehearsals. During both Saturday 5pm and Sunday 10am celebrations at DUMC, I will be playing with one of the cameras :) Ahh, finally the 4 weeks of probation pays off. Now comes the tricky part: remembering the names of my team mates! I suck at remembering names of people I just met. I referred to a girl Jenifer as Felicia, and it kept reccurring to me!! I can talk for hours, and suddenly ask. “Eh, what’s your name ah?”

OSK investment challenge on Monday. Will be there at the launching ceremony and our company will be providing video support for the challenge. Exciting times ahead, working with new people; in church and in work!
