The Rest of the Week

3 things:

1. New route to office

Ok I found a new route to office in the morning. Instead of jamming with the Taman Bahagia LRT crowd, why not take the bus to KL Sentral? From there, I took the Monorail to Raja Chulan.

Price: RM 2.50 (bus) + RM 2.10 (Monorail) = RM 4.60

The current setup of going to Tmn Bahagia then train to Dang Wangi

Price: RM 1 (bus to station) + RM 2.30 (LRT) = RM 3.30

I think I need the Rapid Pass at RM 150 montly, unlimited rides on LRT, all busses (by Rapid KL) and most importantly, the monorail. Huge savings. Also, unlimited ride means I can take the train to Kin Kin pan mee every other morning at Medan Tuanku, or go Imbi / Bkt Bintang to yum cha. No problem!

2. Our Investor Central SG office is having some downtime due to shifting currently being carried out. They’re moving to a bigger space with dedicated studios. We’re going huge. Meanwhile, the KL office here will have to pick up the pieces and REALLY push out some videos this week. Meaning, I will be uber busy til Friday!

3. Our friend, Sue Ann has been spamming Facebook kaw kaw. Anybody noticed that? Apparently her friend Queeny Chong is involved in a popularity contest to sing the national anthem for an occation.

Now, I’m a Marketer. And yes, occationally I do that too.

But posting messages on everybody’s wall ain’t gonna get votes. It ain’t gonna get attention, rather all your friends will be pissed. Very pissed. Maybe it is the Clean and Clear Facebook application that is automatically sending all these posts. Then it is the fault of the Clean & Clear promotion team. They should get reported to Facebook. Gah.. and even if you wanna help them by voting, you have to give up permissions, and a lot of personal information to get your vote counted. Now that is dishonest marketing. Well, I haven’t been ACTUALLY involved in the data mining projects before, but from a neutral standpoint, that is very very very… dishonest misuse of personal information

Hence I opted out.

Okie dokie, that’s about it. Badminton today (on TV lah, I’m too lazy to play). Check out RTM 1′s online streaming if you don’t have access to a telly.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
