Today I went and bought a rack and a mini coffee table. Our house needs these furnitures and so happened I was at IKEA.
It took me just over 30 minutes to get both assembled. At first it was challenging, but after a while, I got the hang of it. It was somewhat therapeutic and soothing. I felt a sense of accomplishment when completing the task.
Work has been fine, I think I’m doing alright. It has been a month now, and I’m getting familiar with the people, the process and the fun in doing basic admin IT tasks.
I reconnected with a Thomson Reuters colleague, Melvin. It was amusing that he caught me having lunch at Batu Maung today. Our office is still in Deepavali mode, so colleagues are working remotely. Tomorrow is Wednesday and I hope for a good end to the month of beautiful October.
Thank you for the birthday wishes and treats. I enjoyed the meal and the fellowship we shared. Amazing! WOOHOO =) Pip is now 36 years old.
