Here we go…. 🙂
Today is April 19, 2025
Sipping a coffee at the huge international coffee chain, I find myself wondering whether I have done enough to live life to the fullest.
Yes, by now, you should be aware that I am travelling round Malaysia. I’m writing my book, so to speak. It’s not an actual book, but maybe out of the adventures, I’ll blog an article about this in May.
I like driving. During ice-breakers for company events or social gatherings, I like to brag of my love for driving my trusty Bezza whereever it may be. Whether it means carrying my friends from Gurney Plaza all the way to Batu Maung for some A&W and IKEA goodness, or on a trip to Sedim, Kulim about 90 minutes away from the island, I find driving therapeutic. It is so calming, even though there is apparent stress involved, I feel the calmness when I’m in control. In life I love to give control away – see, my social media posts are so public. But in reality I can do both – be in control or give control away.
Sitting down and writing is also nice. I have a decent desk at home and fast stable Wifi but then again, flexing my Macbook at the coffee shop with other people in the vicinity really gets the creative juices flowing. I find peace and joy in such environments – seeing my work render great on the Mac and even better on the iPhone.
As you know, most web traffic goes to Mobile devices nowadays. Rarely do people read blogs on their personal computers, unless they’re creators or media managers. It is so much easier to send stuff to your favourite aunties and uncles on WhatsApp with a simple button.
Sorry I didn’t build the feature in- but if you like this, ask your friends to google philipkhor.com =) I will be very glad of every visitor I get.
Before I go, I want to be thankful of the great things I have enjoyed over my 38 years of life on Earth.
Thankful for great parents who brought me up nicely, shelter over my head, food on the table, clothes to wear, friends to be around with, a stable job that pays the bills and of course, a good and healthy body.
If you’ve read to this line, kindly comment on my Facebook, Instagram or TikTok saying you’ve made it to the end. It will be fun to see the responses you may have and leave a line to say how I have impacted your life (in any way) – be positive.
Thank you so very much.
